The Guffeys arrive

Hermanas Johnson and Cameron in Jerez.

Elders Bird and Allen in Algeciras.

Hermanas Lyons, Childers, Read and Nielson in Alicante 1.

This lovely woman was baptized by her husband in Torrevieja.  Pictured with Elders Chacon, Rodriguez, Ward and England.

Elders Medina and Rojas in Sevilla 2.

Hermanas Flanders and Rocha in Valdepenas.

We received two new missionaries recently.  Meet Elder and Sister Guffey from Layton, Utah.  They will be serving in Rota on the military base.  Welcome!

This is what always happens when someone arrives in the  mission from anywhere outside of the European Union.  We jump and wave until we catch their attention, then direct them to a different belt where they will find their luggage.  Shown here is Hermana Castillo waving and knocking, and Elder Castillo writing a message.

Concilio, 3 June 2014

Concilio, not so serious, 3 June 2014

Hermanas Nava and Birnbaumer at Banos de Popea, near Cordoba.

Happy Birthday to Elder Crapo, Happy Birthday to you!

A few missionaries in the San Fernando Zone on a pday with rental bikes.

El bus de Fe, with Elder Sykes, Hermanas Camacho and Hubbard, and Elder Durfey.

"Cordoba District in the 80's" wich Elders Kiffe and Warburton, and Hermanas Nava and Plummer.

Hermanas Heaton and Nielson getting ready to smash the annual goal of 600 baptisms!

Caracoles in the San Fernando Plaza.  Mmmmmm.  (just kidding--why would you eat a snail?)

Finally we end with two jokers at Concilio who showed up with tshirts with an ancient picture of President Deere and me.  We decided to make their day and re-enact the photo shoot.

  1. Elders Bird and Allen in Algeciras, unless Elder Allen is starting to look a lot like Elder Reynolds :)
